Today we\u2019d like to introduce you to Sandra Velez-Gutierrez. Them and their team share their story with us below:<\/p>\n
Sandra\u2019s career begin in 1996 in Puerto Rico with salon ownership for over 11 years. As a part of that career, she provided talent and input to \u201cImagen\u201d and \u201cCanal 2\u201d the regional news channel in San Juan. In 2010 Sandra made the courageous decision to immigrate to the United States with her three children. Since then, she maintained her passion for her career and hoped to again own her own salon. Her perseverance and determination paid off with two successful locations.<\/p>\n
Sandra\u2019s Salon & Spa, LLC, was founded in 2019 and established over 25 years of experience. Sandra\u2019s aim and joy are to make clients look and feel more beautiful than ever and to give them a greater sense of confidence. This is done by drawing out and enhancing clients\u2019 natural God-given beauty, empowering them to break free from any self-imposed limits concerning their image, and enabling them to shine in their sphere of influence!<\/p>\n
Sandra\u2019s Salon & Spa is fully licensed and insured. The staff is trained to offer superior customer and beauty service, providing an atmosphere of peace, warmth, and comfort (we like to pamper our clients, making them feel at home)! Services are guaranteed to be of the highest quality. Sandra and the staff are confident in the ability to gain your trust.<\/p>\n
Alright, so let\u2019s dig a little deeper into the story \u2013 has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you\u2019ve had to overcome?<\/p>\n
Very rarely are the roads to passion and success smooth. Sandra is no exception. Single-parenting is a challenge in itself. Add to that the relocation to a new country, new language, and no family for additional support. Any obstacles faced led her to gain more strength and courage. Her faith and commitment to her children and goals have brought her to a better place of peace and success.<\/p>\n
Great, so let\u2019s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?<\/p>\n
Coming from an island where there is a wide variety of hair types, Sandra has the fortune to have developed skills and natural talent for understanding any type of hair. Her specialty is styling curly hair, coarse hair, and hard-to-manage and damaged hair. Clients rave about their outcomes after visiting the salon.<\/p>\n
The ability to communicate and listen in two languages is imperative. Understanding the needs of the client in their own language has been a key to the development of client relationships. No matter the scenario, Sandra is able to overcome the barriers that may keep a client from seeing their own beauty.<\/p>\n
Sandra\u2019s Salon & Spa is a place where not only the outside is showcased. The soul is nourished through peace and understanding that real beauty begins from within.<\/p>\n
Sandra knows she is fulfilling her purpose in life by bringing your desires into reality \u2013 giving you a renewed sense of confidence and glowing excitement over your appearance and self-image.<\/p>\n
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who\/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out? She continually appreciates her cheerleaders: children, husband, father, and a dear friend Mirza that always supports and encourages Sandra to pursue her goals. Nevertheless, an angel came from Heaven named Rebecca Mixson. She is an amazing business consultant with the UGA SBDC in Augusta.<\/p>\n
Sandra will be always and forever grateful for her. Without her, this road would have been more difficult to achieve some of these goals. God has always put in my way people like her to help me get through life\u2019s challenges and celebrations.<\/p>\n
